I been drooling at the lovely altered notepads over at Nichole's blog. They looked like the perfect Chirstmas gifts. Too bad I couldn't locate the notepads she used but I did manage to find some smaller notepads that worked just as well for my design. The papers from Graphic 45 Domestic Goddess line are great for the notebooks. I can just see them being used for recipes, shopping list etc.
Supplies:
Papers - Graphic 45
Stickers - Jenni Blowline
Flower - Prima
Bakers Twine - YSS Vintage Shoppe
All supplies available at YSS

I added crackle accent to the letters for added texture.

A good way to make use of the left over numbers in your alphabet list.

I left the area blank to put in the receiver's monogram.

Won't you love to receive one for Chirstmas ?

Sorry I've been buried under by work. I guess this layout says it's all. Things have been even crazier with the school holidays here. I've been rushing our assignments but the rainy days made taking pictures of my work so so difficult.

Love the vintage colors of the G45 papers. They are not my usual bright colors but they really grow on you.
Supplies:
Cardstock - Brazzill
Papers - Graphic 45
Glossy Accent - Ranger
Stickles - Ranger
Thickers - American Craft
Stickers - Jenni Bowlin
All supplies available at Your Scrapbook Stash.

I am so excited that my little album has been featured at Creative Mini Albums blog !! Go check it out :) Can you tell that I'm jumping with joy.

Here's a little album that I put together. It started with the left over Prima packaging that are now the covers of the album. They were just too pretty to throw away. Then I discovered that they were a perfect 4X6". The Purple Onion stamp was a perfect fit so I stamped it on a piece of leftover scrapbook paper and things just fell in place. The set of photos I used were all printed last year when my younger son was still a tiny baby. The photos needed a home instead of the bag that it came in from the photo print shop. I gathered my papers (from Far Flung Craft), Chipboards (GDC studios, Making Memories), stickers (Making Memories, 7G) and a bunch of my stamps and started working.
I totally "heart" the results. Now my photos have a home and they look so loved . So do you have a neglected stack of photos sitting on your desk ? Maybe it's time to dust the dust balls off and be inspired.
Have a great weekend.

Side view - I like the goodies peeking out.

After ogling at all the pretty maiboxes on the internet, I just had to try my hand at altering one. Of course there wasn't a Target where I could obtained those cute metal mailboxes, so I made one from scratch using a used box and some cardboard paper.

Here is the newest sketch at Ed's Sketch.

Remember that you need to use a background stamp on your layout. Here is my layout.

I misted the chipboard frame with Pearl glimmer mist for some shine.

Time to share some of the pages I've done for Your Scrapbook Stash this month. It's Lily Bee goodness all around. The Vintage Poppy and Audrey lines are great for both masculine and feminine pages. Initially I thought the flowers on the paper would be too girly but I'm loving it now. The newsprint in the background just ties it together.

Yes, I've been busy. It's exam time in Singapore and R1 was busying with revision. Couple that with a 23mth old who refuses to take his naps and I have a limited amount of free time. The school holidays will be here soon so I'm really looking forward to that.
Here is a page I created last week. I wanted to create an orangish layout for R1's 7th birthday as it is his favorite color. This picture of the 2 boys blowing out the candle together is just so cute.
I'm submitting this page for Groovie's Use Your Stash challenge and Ed's Weekend Challenge ~ Orange at Laine's blog.
